Michigan State women’s basketball will hit the road for the Thanksgiving break heading to Palm Springs, California for the Acrisure Classic Nov. 26-27. The Spartans open action against the Cal Bears on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. ET.

Michigan State women’s basketball players reached double figures, as the Spartans cruised to a 101-44 victory of Detroit Mercy Wednesday night at the Breslin Center. MSU has opened 6-0 for the second time in three seasons and the first under head coach Robyn Fralick. The Titans suffered their first loss of the season falling to 2-1.

Despite a slow start, the Michigan State women’s basketball team found its groove and cruised to a 96-54 win over Eastern Kentucky University Thursday night at the Breslin Center. MSU has opened 4-0 for the second time in as many seasons under head coach Robyn Fralick.

Michigan State women’s basketball freshman center Inés Sotelo is acclimating herself to her new scenery. Sotelo, an international recruit from Ourense, Spain, played basketball for Durán Maquinaria Ensino, a professional women’s basketball club in the Spanish First Division. In MSU’s 95-49 win over Eastern Michigan Monday night, Sotelo shined with 13 points, three rebounds and one steal for the Spartans.

Michigan State women’s basketball head coach Robyn Fralick announced the signing of three signees on Wednesday, including Jordan Ode (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove High School), Anna Terrian (Pewaukee,Wis./Pewaukee High School) and Amy Terrian (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee High School). “We are really excited about our 2025 class: they are competitors, workers and winners. We whole-heartedly believe in their fit both on and off the court at Michigan State University. Our fans are going to love their competitive spirit,” Fralick said.

Michigan State women’s basketball once again flexed its defensive muscles, forcing 29 turnovers en route to a 95-49 win against Eastern Michigan on Monday night at the Breslin Center. Monday was also the Spartans annual Hoops for Troops to honor Veterans Day.

For the second-straight game, the Michigan State women’s basketball team reached the 100-point mark, defeating Yale, 100-44, Friday night at the Breslin Center. This is the second-straight season that the Spartans have had back-to-back 100-point games doing it against Detroit Mercy and Evansville last season.

With six players reaching double figures, the Michigan State women’s basketball team opened the 2024-25 season with a dominating wire-to-wire, 107-42, win over Oakland on Tuesday night at the Breslin Center. MSU has now won 15-consecutive home openers, as their last loss in the first home game of the season was on Nov. 19, 2009 vs. #5/6 Notre Dame.

Michigan State women’s basketball open’s the 2024-25 season against Oakland on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Breslin Center. This is the second-straight season that the Spartans and the Golden Grizzlies have met in MSU’s season opener. Marin Klein and Charlie Schmidgall will be on the call for B1G+.

Michigan State women’s basketball opened the 2024-25 season with a dominating 101-40 exhibition win over Wayne State Monday night at the Breslin Center. The game was a reunion for the Ayrault family as graduate guard/forward Julia Ayrault took on her sister sophomore guard Annabel Ayrault. The players’ father, Andy, is an assistant coach for the Warriors.

Michigan State women’s basketball will have at least seven games nationally televised on either the Big Ten Network, FS1 or Peacock; it was announced by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday. MSU will also have 18 regular-season contests aired on Big Ten Plus.
