There’s absolutely no debate at the top of the depth chart, as redshirt junior Brian Lewerke assumes the starting role for the second year in a row. “A rising star,” as MSU head coach Mark Dantonio called him, Lewerke has complete ownership of the job, and now he’s eager to test his limits after the Spartans won 10 games a year ago.
