Michigan State will be the big dog in the Big Apple. That’s what an outright Big Ten title and a 12-game win streak will do. The Spartans are rolling into the first Big Ten tournament held in New York. MSU (28-3, 16-2 Big Ten) received a double bye and the No. 1 seed for the tournament. The Spartans open play at noon Friday in the quarterfinals against the winner of Thursday’s game between No. 8 seed Maryland and No. 9 seed Wisconsin.
