Where Spartans sit ahead of 2018 Big Ten Tournament
Michigan State won’t have to play in the tournament until Friday, and will take on the winner of Wisconsin-Maryland’s Thursday game. The Spartans were victorious twice against each team. Tom Izzo’s team beat Maryland by 30 and Wisconsin by 15 in the first two matchups, but the latter two were competitive until the end. Maryland stuck around in a 74-68 Michigan State win in January, while Wisconsin led with 7 minutes to go in their game on Sunday.
