Tom Izzo uses off day to watch Wisconsin big man Joey Hauser
With a couple players battling the flu and a four-day gap between games, Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo gave his guys the day off Friday.But the work never ends for Izzo, who hit the recruiting trail and traveled across Lake Michigan to watch 2018 big man Joey Hauser. Izzo said on the Drive with Jack on Friday afternoon that he was headed to Wisconsin for recruiting, and Mark Miller of the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook confirmed that the MSU head coach was in town to watch Hauser.
