Spartans know they can’t afford slow starts like against Rutgers
Miles Bridges was back for the first time in more than a month and Michigan State had put together a great few days of practice, so head coach Tom Izzo was expecting his team to come out firing Wednesday night against Rutgers. Instead, the Spartans fell behind 6-0 and allowed the Scarlet Knights to make their first five shots, including, three layups.
