Michigan State is here at Madison Square Garden for Big Ten media day as the runaway favorite to win the league, with the league’s preseason player of the year in Miles Bridges. Tom Izzo isn’t disagreeing with that status, but thinks he’ll have plenty of teams within striking distance. “I heard we were picked to win it, but I heard there were like five teams picked second,” Izzo said on Thursday morning at his opening media session. “It just goes to show what this league has, and that’s parity.”
