Michigan State snapped a three-game losing streak against Notre Dame last year in South Bend. The Spartans gashed the Fighting Irish for 260 rushing yards, led by running backs Gerald Holmes (100 yards, two touchdowns) and LJ Scott (98 yards, one touchdown), in the 36-28 victory.
