Michigan State’s football game against Notre Dame is always a big deal for the Spartans. It is not always a determining or telling game, though. In fact, in the last 30 years, it is more often a game unto itself, with little to do with how MSU fares in the Big Ten season. Keep that in mind tonight, however it goes.
