Nicknamed “Dapper Dan,” Currie played seven seasons with the Packers and two with the Los Angeles Rams, from 1958 to 1966. He was an All-American at Michigan State, played on two NFL championship teams, was Associated Press first-team All-Pro in 1962, and was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1984.
