Kate Stewart-Barnett captured the women’s 3000m steeplechase Big Ten title on the second day of the B1G Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Stewart-Barnett pulled away from the field after the last barrier to earn the win in 9:42.78. This was her second Big Ten steeplechase championship, also winning in 2023 with a time of 10:01.34.
