Trey Augustine (South Lyon, Mich.) is among the 35 Division I goaltenders on the 2025 Richter Award Watch List. The Richter Award is presented annually to the top goaltender in Division I men’s ice hockey. For the second consecutive season, Augustine is the youngest full-time starting goaltender in Division I hockey. No goalies younger than Augustine have played in more than eight games so far this season. He is a February 2005 birth year and is a second-round draft pick (41st overall) of the Detroit Red Wings in 2023.
