Michigan State point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. was granted a redshirt for the 2023-24 season, a source confirms to Spartan Tailgate. The second-year MSU guard from Joliet (IL) only played in 12 games last year, following an act of gun violence that led to Fears sustaining a thigh injury. In those 12 games, Fears averaged 15.3 minutes per game. He shot 50% from the field (15/30) and had 10 assists in his final game vs Stony Brook.
