Sometime on Wednesday, Michigan State players will board a bus from the Breslin Center and head for Indianapolis. They’ll hope not to return home for a long time. The Spartans will open the postseason on Thursday with a Big Ten tournament quarterfinal matchup against Maryland (11:30 a.m., BTN). Regardless of what happens in that game, though, Michigan State won’t be checking out of its hotel out for a while.
