Cassius Winston scored a career-high 32 points and handed out nine assists in leading No. 8 Michigan State to an 87-69 win over rival Michigan on Sunday. On Monday, he was named the Big Ten Player of the Week. It was the sixth time in his career that he earned that award, as he was recognized five times during the 2018-19 season. The honors continued to come in on Tuesday for the preseason Big Ten Player of the Year and Associated Press All-American.
