Head coach Adam Nightingale and the Spartans saw five current or future commitments selected in the first round of the 2026 NHL Draft, highlighting one of the nation’s most talented recruiting classes. The first future Spartan off the board was defenseman Chase Reid, who was selected seventh overall by the Seattle Kraken.
