USA Hockey has announced that Michigan State head coach Adam Nightingale will serve as an assistant coach for the upcoming IIHF World Championships, which will be held in Herning, Denmark, and Stockholm, Sweden, May 9-25, 2024. Nightingale has supported several national teams at different levels in international competition. During his tenure as the head coach of the US National Team Development Program, he guided Team USA to a silver medal at the U18 World Championships in 2022 and was an assistant coach for the bronze medal-winning 2021 U.S. Men’s World Championship Team.
