The Michigan State hockey team’s quest for a national championship will begin just a few hours from campus. As expected, the Spartans, who became the first team in Big Ten history on Saturday night to win a second straight league tournament title, learned Sunday it would be the No. 1-seed in the Toledo Regional in Toledo, Ohio, when the NCAA tournament begins Thursday.
