In some ways, this is everything Gehrig Normand dreamed of when he chose to play basketball at Michigan State — being part of the group that led the program to a high seed in the NCAA tournament, with a real chance to a make a run. That part of it is certainly everything Normand dreamed of years ago as a kid, sitting on his couch back in Texas watching every NCAA tournament game he could.
