Spartan centerman Tiernan Shoudy (Marysville, Mich.) has been named the Big Ten Second Star of the Week after the final regular-season weekend of the season. Shoudy helped guide Michigan State to a second consecutive Big Ten title, the first two in program history and the only school other than Minnesota to accomplish the feat. Shoudy had a pair of goals, an assist, and two blocks in the two-game road series at Notre Dame, including two goals in the finale. It was the first two-goal game of his career.
