No. 4/3 Michigan State opened Big Ten play with a 4-2 victory over No. 13/12 Ohio State on Friday at Munn Ice Arena. It was the first loss of the season for the Buckeyes, who fall to 7-1-1 and 2-1-0 in Conference action.
