Michigan State made a splashy pickup this offseason by bringing in coveted transfer quarterback Aidan Chiles, who spent his freshman year learning under new head coach Jonathan Smith and Co. at Oregon State. Don’t overlook one of the other former Beavers who followed Smith’s coaching staff to East Lansing, either. The guy who will touch the ball every play before Chiles, center Tanner Miller, is viewed by Pro Football Focus as every bit the key addition Chiles is. Miller, a sixth-year senior playing his final season as a Spartan, is PFF’s top-rated returning interior offensive lineman among Big Ten programs.
