Hoggard finished Saturday’s game with 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting with five assists and three steals. Despite four turnovers, the game marked the latest evidence that Hoggard’s performance is on an upswing this season after a slow start as the Spartans head into a Monday game against Oakland (7 p.m., BTN). “Honestly, I felt like I grew today in a leadership aspect,” Hoggard said. “I was more aggressive, of course. I definitely grew in that aspect, and that’s what I was really looking forward to, coming into this game.”
