Sam Leavitt plans to sit out, take redshirt for season
Following Saturday night’s 38-3 loss at Ohio State, interim coach Harlon Barnett said the plan is for Leavitt to sit out the rest of the season to keep a redshirt for the year. The former four-star prospect was in uniform against the Buckeyes but didn’t play and would burn a redshirt if he took another snap this season.
