Fralick (fray-lick) has six months on the job at Michigan State. She replaced Suzy Merchant, who stepped down in March after 16 seasons due to health problems. Fralick, 41, spent the past five seasons as Bowling Green’s head coach. She inherits a program that went 16-14 last season (7-10 in the Big Ten, ninth place), has missed the NCAA Tournament the last two years, and hasn’t reached the Sweet 16 since 2009.
