Michigan State Falls at Home to Maryland
Michigan State fell behind at the half and cut into the deficit in third quarter but could not get closer as Maryland beat the Spartans, 31-9, on Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium. Nate Carter had 19 carries for 97 yards, while Noah Kim completed 18-of-33 passes for 190 yards with one touchdown and senior wide receiver Montorie Foster Jr. had six catches for 67 yards.
