The last time Michigan State had this many unknowns entering a season, Kenneth Walker took the first play from scrimmage 75 yards and didn’t stop running until every worry had been washed away. That joyous gallup down the sidelines at Northwestern two years ago didn’t answer everything, but it said this: The Spartans were going to be OK.
