Darius Snow comes from a lineage of proud Michigan State athletes. Father, Eric, served as a point guard and leader on the basketball court in the mid-1990s before a 13-year NBA career. Darius’ uncle, Percy, is a College Football Hall of Famer who remains the only Spartan to win either the Lombardi Award or Butkus Trophy — and, in 1989, became the first in college football history to capture both in one season. Smart. Leader. Communicator. Tough. All of the adjectives used to describe the Spartans in Snow’s family now define the 21-year-old himself.
