Ekh Named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week
Michigan State women’s basketball guard/forward Matilda Ekh was named Co-Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday, as announced by the league office. She shares the honor with Nebraska’s Alexis Markowski. The Västerås, Sweden native captured her third Freshman of the Week honor after leading the Spartans to a win road victory over Wisconsin on Feb. 16. Ekh led the Spartans with 25 points against the Badgers.
