The volume was turned up in the Berkowitz Basketball Complex on Monday afternoon. As Michigan State practiced in preparation for a Wednesday game at Butler (7 p.m. FS1), it did so with crowd noise piped in at a high decibel when the ball was in play. It’s a tactic Tom Izzo doesn’t use often when preparing his team. But he had two reasons for doing so on Monday.
