The key change from Mark Dantonio’s base 4-3 is that Tucker has replaced one linebacker with a nickel back, who is expected to be a play-maker. “I’m used to being in nickel and dime, actually having six DBs on the field quite a bit,” Tucker said Tuesday during his news conference. “Because that gives you the ability to match up and play multiple coverages and be able to match personnel and play man coverage when you need to.”
