For the last two weeks, Michigan State has had to prepare for teams that like to attack, play with great pace and are always looking to transition from defense to offense as quickly as possible. First, it was Penn State and bunch of shot-happy Nittany Lions. And then it was Michigan which strives to enters the zone with speed and make quick passes and find open players for one-timers. The Spartans did well against both high-tempo teams, splitting a series at Penn State and sweeping the Wolverines, gobbling up one victory at each venue – Yost Arena and Munn Arena.
