None of the other Spartans landed with the Houston Roughnecks, who took quarterback Connor Cook No. 2 overall in the skill player phase of the draft on Tuesday. A pair of MSU products are linking up with the Dallas Renegades, however, as the franchise selected safety Kurtis Drummond in the fourth round of the defensive back phase and wide receiver Keith Mumphery in the first round of the open phase when all players were available.
