Antjuan Simmons appeared in all 26 games over his first two seasons. The Michigan State linebacker has been a reliable backup and special teams contributor but is ready for more. Following the graduation of Andrew Dowell, a three-year starter at weak-side linebacker, Simmons is now in position to take over his spot. “I feel ready,” Simmons said, “like it’s about time for me to make a step up.”
