Michigan State left Orleans Arena in Las Vegas more than a week ago thinking it had a fully healthy team for one of its most difficult stretches of the season. On the plane ride home the Spartans found out they actually weren’t fully healthy, when a thigh bruise suffered by senior guard Matt McQuaid swelled up at high altitude and left him barely able to walk.
