Brian Lewerke’s right shoulder is “improved,” and that’s as far as Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio would go Sunday as far as an update on the redshirt junior quarterback Sunday. It’s too early to say whether Lewerke will be healthy enough to play in the Spartans’ Redbox Bowl game against Oregon on Dec. 31.
