The Spartans are coming off an impressive and telling performance at the Las Vegas Invitational, where they thumped UCLA and then rallied from way behind to take control against a Texas team capable of a deep NCAA tournament run. MSU showed a maturity, toughness and togetherness to its game over the weekend, while winning with defense and getting impressive play out of its backcourt, highlighted by Joshua Langford’s career-high 29 points on Friday.
