Nick Ward isn’t expected to miss an extended period of for what the team is calling a non-severe low ankle sprain suffered on Wednesday night in Michigan State’s win over Louisiana-Monroe. But he did miss 32 minutes of gameplay on Wednesday after suffering the injury. And without him, the rest of the Michigan State frontcourt rotation players — Kenny Goins, Xavier Tillman, Marcus Bingham, and Thomas Kithier — got what could be some much-needed experience down the road should Ward have to sit due to foul trouble.
