Michigan State routs Northern Michigan in lone exhibition Spartan Tailgate
Tom Izzo expected his team would get more out of its recent scrimmage against Gonzaga than it would Tuesday night’s exhibition against Northern Michigan. Now we all see why. The Spartans put a predictable beatdown on Izzo’s alma mater, beating the Wildcats 93-47. It was the only exhibition MSU will play ahead of its season-opener against No. 1 Kansas Nov. 6 in Indianapolis.
