Spartans Take Down No. 8 Cornell on the Road
The Michigan State hockey team broke a 1-1 tie with four goals in the third period and topped No. 8 Cornell, 5-2, on Friday night at Lynah Rink in Ithaca, New York. Taro Hirose had a goal and two assists to lead the Spartans (2-1), while goaltender John Lethemon made 32 saves in the win.
