Mark Dantonio made the decision early in the fourth quarter on Saturday that he would play starting quarterback Brian Lewerke for one more series, then make the switch to backup Rocky Lombardi. Lewerke got his final series, a three-and-out that ended with a punt with 9:19 left. Then Michigan took over, and Lombardi could just stand and watch. And watch some more.
