Since elevating Matt Allen to the starting center job, the position has been a rare source of stability for Michigan State’ offensive line. After the redshirt sophomore limped off the field during the second half of last Saturday’s loss to Michigan, it’s unclear whether the Spartans will have the luxury of Allen’s consistency this weekend against Purdue.“I really don’t want to get into the injury parts of that, and it’s sort of an unknown right now anyway,” MSU head coach Mark Dantonio said.
