Jones, a senior forward from Lansing, Michigan, earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors after a nine-point performance. He scored two goals in a win against Bowling Green on Sept. 7 and managed to top that with two goals and an assist in a victory over Oakland on Sept. 10. This is the third award for Jones who also was last honored by the league on Sept. 12, 2017. The senior scored twice in the second half to lead the Spartans to a 2-1 win. He currently leads the team in scoring with five goals
