If everything goes according to plan for Michigan State this season, redshirt freshman Rocky Lombardi won’t take any meaningful snaps outside of the few the coaching staff hand-picks for him. MSU head coach Mark Dantonio wants to throw quarterbacks not named Brian Lewerke into the fray, and perhaps not just when the game is out of reach.
