Dantonio said he and his coaches watched Reschke’s interactions with his teammates closely. They studied them. They looked for signs of possible fissures — and for signs of forgiveness, too. “Forgiveness is power,” said Dantonio, speaking Tuesday in Chicago at Big Ten media days. “So (Reschke) asked for forgiveness, and the players have given him that.” That’s a word we don’t hear enough of these days, frankly. A concept that’s gotten lost in our charged and heated interactions.
