Lewerke Named to Davey O’Brien Award Watch List
For the second time in as many days, junior quarterback Brian Lewerke has been added to a watch list for a major national award. On Tuesday, Lewerke was one of 26 quarterbacks featured on the 2018 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award Watch List, released by the Davey O’Brien Foundation. Compiled by a subset of the Davey O’Brien National Selection Committee, this year’s list was selected based on player performance during the previous year and expectations heading into the 2018 college football season.
