The 11th-ranked Michigan State women’s golf team is in third place after two rounds of play at the Clemson Invitational in Sunset, South Carolina. The Spartans shot a 4-under-par 284 in Saturday’s second round at The Reserve at Lake Keowee and are 15-under-par 561 (277-284) for the tournament. MSU is two shots behind host Clemson (559) and 11 strokes back of tournament leader No. 7 Furman (550), which pushed ahead of the field with a 15-under-par 273 on Saturday. The Spartans are five shots ahead of fourth-place Ohio State.
