Since Michigan State clawed out a tough 62-52 road win over Rutgers on Dec. 15, the Scarlet Knights have had an interesting few weeks.  Responding to the loss to then-No. 3 MSU with four straight wins, Rutgers picked up its best win of the season by beating then-No. 15 Seton Hall 71-65. But then came a three-game losing streak, with the first coming against a 7-9 Stony Brook team and the second to an 8-8 Hartford squad.
