For the first time in a long time, the outside shots weren’t falling for Michigan State in its 80-64 loss to Ohio State on Sunday in Columbus.  MSU posted its worst 3-point shooting effort since a Dec. 3 win over Nebraska (5-for-19) by going 7-for-25 (28 percent) from long range. Against the Huskers, Michigan State was able to counter its poor outside by getting to the rim, pounding the ball inside and getting to the free throw line.
