Jadon Cohee knew Bridges was running with him. He pump-faked, and Bridges overshot him. An easy layup was the Thunderbirds guard’s for the making. Just as the ball left Cohee’s fingertips, Jaren Jackson Jr., Bridges’ teammate, leapt in and spiked the shot out of bounds. Rejection, followed by dejection for Cohee and elation for Jackson and Bridges.
